On October 29, Hong Phong 5-Star Cruise JSC (Athena Group) officially launched the Athena Premium, the largest six-star cruise ship ever built for Ha Long Bay, after more than a year of construction since July 25, 2024.

The Athena Premium is a strategic flagship project of Athena Group, marking a bold step forward in elevating luxury travel experiences on the world natural heritage site of Ha Long Bay. The new vessel continues the success of Athena Group’s prestigious cruise brands that have welcomed tens of thousands of travelers over the past decade, including Athena Royal, Athena Luxury, Signature Halong, and Signature Royal.

With a length of 110 meters and a total area exceeding 10,000m², Athena Premium boasts outstanding scale and design, accommodating over 500 guests. Entirely developed by Athena Group, from concept and design to construction and operation, by a team of Vietnamese engineers, architects, and specialists, the project highlights Vietnam’s creativity, craftsmanship, and growing expertise in high-end marine tourism.

Positioned as the “Icon of luxury leisure on the heritage bay”, Athena Premium features 41 suites, each offering world-class amenities and spacious layouts starting from 43m². The Presidential Suite, spanning 400m² on the top deck, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the bay and exclusive privileges such as a private mineral bath, personal infinity pool, separate lounge, and dedicated living spaces – a true sanctuary of elegance and privacy.

The cruise also introduces a host of exceptional facilities, including a 1,000m² sundeck, Vietnam’s first Japanese-style onsen at sea, and a comprehensive wellness complex with a four-season infinity pool, spa and steam therapy area, yoga and meditation zone, 3D golf room, astronomy deck, and private relaxation spaces, creating a complete “wellness cruise” experience.
