On November 11, the Ha Long International Cruise Port came alive with excitement as two luxury cruise ships, Westerdam and Star Voyager, docked simultaneously, bringing more than 3,100 international visitors from Europe and Southeast Asia to Quang Ninh.

The Westerdam carried over 1,900 guests, while the Star Voyager welcomed 1,200 passengers to the world-famous heritage bay.
During their stay, visitors explored some of Quang Ninh’s most iconic attractions, a scenic cruise across Ha Long Bay, the Quang Ninh Museum, Ha Long Market I, spiritual tourism sites, and the breathtaking Queen Cable Car.
The Star Voyager departed at 6 p.m. on November 11, followed by the Westerdam at 9 p.m. on November 12.

This marks the beginning of Quang Ninh’s vibrant cruise tourism season, lasting from October to April, with around 60 scheduled voyages and an expected 70,000 passengers.
So far, the province has already welcomed nearly 50 international cruise calls, carrying about 60,000 travelers, many of whom are returning guests as cruise lines revisit Quảng Ninh up to six times a year.
These positive signals reaffirm Quang Ninh’s growing appeal as a top-tier destination for global cruise travelers, paving the way for the province to achieve its ambitious goal of welcoming over 21 million visitors in 2025, including 4.5 million international tourists.
