On October 14, nearly 1,000 Chinese tourists traveling under the MICE model (Meetings- Incentives – Conferences – Exhibitions) completed entry procedures at the Mong Cai International Border Gate, marking the start of their 5-day, 4-night journey across Quang Ninh province.

Welcoming the delegation, Chairman of the Mong Cai Ward 1 People’s Committee, Do Van Tuan, presented flowers and extended warm greetings, expressing his joy and appreciation to the international visitors for choosing Quang Ninh, Vietnam as their destination.

Local authorities and relevant agencies proactively arranged staff and facilities to ensure a smooth, safe, and thoughtful entry process, leaving a positive impression on the guests.

The group, which includes delegates, entrepreneurs, and high-income individuals from various provinces in China, chose Quang Ninh for accommodation, sightseeing, and leisure after attending a conference in Dongxing City (Guangxi, China). Their itinerary features stays at high-end hotels and visits to several of the province’s iconic attractions.

“Mong Cai Ward 1 lies at the heart of the Tra Co national tourist area. We have identified tourism as our key economic driver, and we continuously strive to improve service quality, build a friendly and clean tourism environment, and make Mong Cai Ward 1 a leading tourism hub in eastern Quang Ninh”, said Do Van Tuan.

According to Chairman of the Board of Directors of THK Tourism and Trading Services JSC, Nguyen Ha Hai, MICE tourism is rapidly expanding and has become a promising direction with high economic potential.

“Successfully welcoming nearly 1,000 guests today demonstrates our ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and reaffirms Quang Ninh’s growing appeal on the global MICE tourism map”, he added.
