From March 6 to 11, a lavish wedding celebration for an Indian billionaire couple took place at FLC Grand Hotel Ha Long, drawing around 300 guests from various countries, including India, several European nations, China, and Vietnam.

The ceremony was held in an elegant setting that harmoniously blended vibrant traditions of Indian culture with the luxurious seaside atmosphere overlooking the world-famous Ha Long Bay. This is the third wedding of Indian billionaire families hosted at FLC Grand Hotel Hạ Long since the beginning of the year. By the end of the year, the venue is expected to host five to six large international weddings that have already been booked in advance.

Over the past two years, Quang Ninh Province, home to the UNESCO-recognized natural wonder Ha Long Bay, has increasingly become a magnet for India’s wealthy elite to host wedding celebrations. In the first half of February 2026 alone, three weddings Indian billionaire families were held at Vinpearl Ha Long Resort (Bai Chay Ward) , on Ha Long Bay, and at Ngoc Rong Cave.

Successfully attracting this segment of high-end “billionaire” travelers not only generates significant revenue for the local service industry but also offers a valuable opportunity to promote the natural beauty, hospitality, and world-class event hosting capabilities of Quang Ninh Province to the world.
